Procrastinating your prayers

Praying

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are having a fantastic week? I know I am, and i Thank God for giving me the Love, Joy, Peace and Happiness that surrounds me. I always ensure that I pray everyday, even if i am rushing out, I make sure i pray whilst driving or on the move. It is very important that we keep a relationship with God and reach out to Him on a daily basis. Even the bible instructs us to pray always. In 1st Thessalonians 5:17 which says ”Pray without ceasing”. Prayer creates a conductive atmosphere for excising your faith.

Prayer is also a weapon against the attacks of the devil. Ephesians 6:18 says ”Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching there unto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints”. Pray in the spirit always, giving yourself to prayer just like Jesus did.

So my friends, if you have been slacking and procrastinating your prayers… stop what you are doing right now and take a moment to pray to The Lord.  God Bless

True Love

Valentine22

Hello Everyone,

I thought to share the below image with you so you all remember what true love is. But first, the bible let us know what the true meaning of Love is on 1st Corinthians 13:4-8

”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”
Don’t forget that Our True Love is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thank him on this glorious day for what he has done for us.
Happy Vals Day!!

Psalms 89: Establishing the Throne Forever

A Chapter Per Day

Psalms 89 talks a lot about the covenant that God made with David. As a refresher, let me grab that for you so that we have some common ground to build off of.

2Sa 7:13  He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.

2Sa 7:14  I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:

2Sa 7:15  But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.

2Sa 7:16  And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

We can see some of this quoted in this Psalm directly, and I have to admit…

Biblically Illiterate

Biblical Proof

Biblically Illiterate

We live in a world where if one is illiterate they will have trouble being a law abiding citizen. After all, if they don’t know what they law says, they are more apt to break it. Even so, there are many biblically illiterate in the Word of God. What is sad is that many of these are members of the body of Christ. Many revere the Bible but few read it, and because they don’t read  it, they have become biblically illiterate.

Just test yourself out with these basic biblical truths. Can you name the four gospels? Can you name at least one half of the apostles of Jesus? Can you define the gospel of Christ? Can you name Noah’s wife or Lot’s wife? Do you know the names of the two who inhabited the Garden of Eden? Who lead Israel out of Egypt? What two cities did God destroyed…

Friendship

Friendship

Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is really faithful? (Proverbs 20:6)

Of course, the Bible gives some classic examples of “really faithful” friends. The classic example is that Old Testament pair, David and Jonathan.

After David had finished talking with Saul, he met Jonathan, the king’s son. There was an immediate bond of love between them, and they became the best of friends. And Jonathan made a special vow to be David’s friend, and he sealed the pact by giving him his robe, tunic, sword, bow, and belt.

Do you have a friend like that? a loyal friend, one you can always rely on? .. please share with us and thank them for being a loyal friend.

In Christ Alone

Christ

This is one of my Favorite hymn, Sing along with me….

In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This Cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm
What heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My Comforter, my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand

In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save
‘Til on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live

There in the ground His body lay
Light of the World by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious Day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of Christ

No guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand
